On Friday night, Brett Oberholtzer (5-10) will attempt to start just his second winning streak of the season when he and the Houston Astros face C.J. Wilson (11-9) and the Los Angeles Angels.

Second-year starter Brett Oberholtzer pitched 6.1 innings against the Oakland Athletics on the road and picked up the win. He allowed three runs on seven base hits in that start while striking out one batter and walking two. Oberholtzer now has a 4.38 ERA on the season and he has given up 149 hits in 127.1 innings of work.

Angels catcher Chris Iannetta has two hits in five at-bats against Oberholtzer with a home run and three RBI. Erick Aybar is just 1-for-9 against him in his career with no walks and no strikeouts.

C.J. Wilson pitched pretty well against the Minnesota Twins on the road in his last start and picked up the win. He gave up three runs in 6.1 innings of work that day while walking four batters and striking out six. The left-hander now has a 4.64 ERA on the season and he has been able to strike out 7.8 batters per nine innings.
