Collin McHugh will hope that he can end his current four-game losing streak when he and the Houston Astros face Garrett Richards and the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday afternoon.

Collin McHugh was beaten by the Seattle Mariners at home on Monday and took his seventh loss of the year in the process. He pitched six innings in that start and gave up five earned runs on five hits while walking four and striking out eight. McHugh has a 3.22 ERA through 13 starts this year and he has been able to strike out 89 batters in 78.1 innings pitched.

Veteran Albert Pujols has two hits in his six at-bats against McHugh and is the only player on the Angels who has hit a home run off of him. David Freese has just one hit in his eight at-bats against the right-hander with an RBI and two strikeouts.

Garrett Richards continued his strong first half of the season on Tuesday when he beat the Chicago White Sox on the road. He picked up his ninth win after pitching right innings and only giving up three runs while striking out nine batters.

Astros designated hitter Chris Carter has six hits in his 15 at-bats against Richards with a double, a home run and four RBI. Infielder Marwin Gonzalez is just 1-for-10 against him with no walks and three strikeouts.
