Brad Peacock will once again be looking to pick up his first win of the season when he and the Houston Astros face the red-hot Rick Porcello and the Detroit Tigers.

Brad Peacock had a decent start against the Seattle Mariners last Friday, but he got the no decision in a game the Astros eventually won 5-4. He went six innings in that game and gave up two earned runs on six hits while striking out six and walking three. His ERA is still way too high at 5.26, but he has struck out 24 batters in 25.2 innings.

Peacock hasn't faced too many players in the Tigers' current lineup, but he has held second baseman Ian Kinsler to just one hit in six matchups and has struck him out once. Rajai Davis is 0-for-2 against Peacock with one strikeout.

Rick Porcello won his third straight game and his fourth overall when he beat the Kansas City Royals last Friday. He was able to get through seven innings in that outing and gave up just two runs on four hits while walking none and striking out six. His ERA dipped to 3.66 in the win and he's walked just four batters all season.

Jason Castro is 1-for-3 against Porcello with a home run, while the right-hander has gotten the best of Jose Altuve in all three of his plate appearances.
