Carlos Carrasco notched his 2nd straight win in his last start.  In the victory, Carrasco pitched 7 shutout innings and allowed just 3 hits without issuing a walk while striking out 5. It was the 2nd straight start that Carrasco had denied the opposition a single run or walk.  In his last 10 appearances, Carrasco is 4 - 1 and he has given the Tribe some decent innings as a starter.  Last season, Carrasco started 7 games and made 8 relief appearances en route to a 1 -4 record and a 6.75 ERA.

Last season, Carrasco pitched just an inning of relief against the Astros and he allowed a hit while striking out 1.  Only 3 of the current Astros have ever faced Carrasco and just one (L.J. Hoes) has a hit off of the righty.
