On Sunday afternoon, Jarred Cosart will try to make it six wins in seven games when he and the Houston Astros go up against John Danks and the Chicago White Sox.

Jarred Cosart didn't pitch very well against the Texas Rangers in his last start, but he did pick up his ninth win of the year after getting a lot of help from his offense. He went five innings in that outing and gave up six runs (five earned) while striking out two batters and walking two. Cosart is now 9-6 for the Astros this season and has only given up seven home runs in 105.2 innings on the mound.

White Sox infielder has two hits in his six at-bats against Cosart with a double and a strikeout. Dayan Viciedo is 2-for-4 against him with two walks.

Last Sunday, John Danks pitched very well against the Cleveland Indians on the road, but he had to settle for the no decision in a game the Indians ended up winning 3-2. Danks pitched seven innings in that outing and gave up just one run on seven hits while walking two batters and striking out four. He is currently 8-6 with a 3.99 ERA and he has walked 3.5 batters per nine innings, which is nearly double is walk rate of 2013.

One guy on the Astros who Danks does not like to face is Matt Dominguez, who is 3-for-5 against him with two home runs and four RBI.
