Big right-hander Scott Feldman will be on the mound for the Houston Astros on Friday night when they face Jose Quintana and the Chicago White Sox.

Last Friday, Scott Feldman had one of his worst starts of the season when he was beaten by the Boston Red Sox at home. He went 5.1 inning sin that game and gave up seven earned runs on 11 hits while walking three and striking out three. Feldman now has a 4-6 record on the season with a 4.33 ERA and he has given up 98 hits in 89.1 innings on the mound.

White Sox veteran Paul Konerko has eight hits in his 24 at-bats against Feldman with two doubles, two home runs and six RBI. Slugger Adam Dunn has just two hits in 17 plate appearances against Feldman with four strikeouts.

Lefty Jose Quintana had a pretty good outing against the Boston Red Sox last week, but all he got out of that start was a no decision. He pitched seven innings in that outing and gave up three runs on just two hits while walking two and striking out seven. Quintana has been having the best season of his career and currently owns a 3.24 ERA.

None of the current Astros have been able to hit a home run off of Quintana yet, but catcher Jason Castro is 4-for-8 against him with two doubles and three RBI.
