On Thursday night, Scott Feldman (6-8) will attempt to win his third game in a row when he and the Houston Astros face 24-year-old Allen Webster (2-1) and the Boston Red Sox.

Last weekend, Scott Feldman pitched 6.1 innings against the Texas Rangers at home and came away with his sixth win of the year. He allowed three runs on eight hits in that outing while striking out six batters and walking just one. He now has a 4.14 ERA on the year and he has only been able to strike out 5.1 batters per nine innings.

Red Sox veteran Mike Napoli has 12 hits in his 29 at-bats against Feldman with a double, two home runs and seven RBI. David Ortiz is just 3-for-18 against him with three walks and a strikeout.

Second-year starter Allen Webster made his third start for the Red Sox last Friday and was able to beat the Los Angeles Angels on the road. He pitched 6.2 innings in that game and allowed two runs on four base hits while walking two and striking out three. Through three starts, Webster has walked 13 batter sin 14.2 innings and has a 4.91 ERA.

Webster will be facing the Astros for the first time in his career on Thursday. So far this year, he has held both right-handed and left-handed hitters to batting averages under .200.
