Jorge De La Rosa will be looking to go above .500 on the season when he takes the mound on Wednesday for the Colorado Rockies against Colby Lewis and the Texas Rangers.

Jorge De La Rosa was able to even his record at 3-3 when he beat the New York Mets last Friday. He pitched six innings in that game and gave up three earned runs on eight hits while striking out four and walking three. His ERA is still pretty high at 5.11, but he is striking out nearly eight batters per nine innings.

Josh Wilson has struggled against De La Rosa in his career, going just 2-for-12 with a strikeout. Prince Fielder has struck out five times in 11 at-bats against the right-hander, but he does have .273 average with a double, a triple and and four RBI off of him.

Colby Lewis was able to get his second win of the season last week when he beat the Los Angeles Angels. He could only make it through 5.2 innings on 87 pitches that night, but he gave up just two runs on seven hits while striking out six in the outing. He's given up 26 hits in 21.1 innings this season, but he has also struck out 20 batters.

No one in the Rockies current lineup has faced Lewis more than three times.
