On Friday night, Jorge De La Rosa (13-10) will try to pick up his first win in four starts when he and the Colorado Rockies face Adam Wainwright (17-9) and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Last weekend against the San Diego Padres, Jorge De La Rosa gave up three earned runs in 5.2 innings and ended up with a no decision. He allowed six hits in that outing while striking out four batters and walking one. On the season, De La Rosa now has a 4.27 ERA and he has given up 148 hits in 166.1 innings on the mound.

Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina has five hits in 11 at-bats against De La Rosa with a home run and two RBI. Veteran Jhonny Peralta is just 2-for-19 against him in his career with two walks and eight strikeouts.

Adam Wainwright was able to pick up his second win in a row on Sunday when he beat the Milwaukee Brewers on the road. He pitched a complete game in that outing and gave up just one run on seven hits while walking one batter and striking out three. Wainwright now has an excellent 2.62 ERA on the year and he has only given up 168 hits in 203 innings.

Rockies veteran Michael Cuddyer is 3-for-6 against Wainwright in his career with an RBI and a strikeout. Outfielder Drew Stubbs is just 3-for-16 against him with a walk and five strikeouts.
