On Sunday, Colorado Rockies starter Juan Nicasio will be trying to end his current three-game losing streak when he takes on Madison Bumgarner and the San Francisco Giants.

On Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves, Juan Nicasio had his shortest outing of the season by going just 3.2 innings and he ended up suffering his fifth loss of the year. He allowed a season-high 10 earned runs on 11 hits in that game while striking out two an walking two. Nicasio had his ERA go up from 4.68 to 5.70 with that loss and he has now given up 15 home runs in 71 innings this season.

Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford has five hits in 13 at-bats against Nicasio with four doubles, two walks and an RBI. Pablo Sandoval is just 2-for-14 against the right-hander with three strikeouts.

Big lefty Madison Bumgarner pitched pretty well against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, but he ended up taking his fourth loss of the season. He went seven innings in that game and allowed just two earned runs on eight hits while walking one and striking out five. On the season, Bumgarner is now 8-4 with a 2.67 ERA.

Wilin Rosario seems to like going up against Bumgarner as he is 10-for-28 against him with a double, a triple, a homer and six RBI. Troy Tulowitzki is 8-for-24 against Bumgarner with two doubles and a home run.
