Right-hander Jhoulys Chacin will be on the mound for the Colorado Rockies on Monday night and will be taking on Kyle Kendrick and the Philadelphia Phillies.

Jhoulys Chacin lost for the third time in four starts last week against the San Francisco Giants when he gave up three earned runs in 5.2 innings of work. He allowed four hits in that start and walked two while striking out four. Chacin now has an 0-3 record on the year with a 4.76 ERA and he has struck out just 11 batters through 22.2 innings.

Shortstop Jimmy Rollins has had a tough time when he has faced Chacin, going just 1-for-12 with three strikeouts. Outfielder Tony Gwynn is 6-for-15 against him with two doubles and two triples.

Kyle Kendrick remained winless when he picked up his fifth loss of the season at the hands of the Miami Marlins last week. He pitched 5.2 innings in that start and allowed a season-high six runs on seven hits while walking two and striking out three. Kendrick is giving up less hits than he did in 2013, but he has also given up more home runs per nine innings.

Rockies shortstop doesn't have an extra-base hit against Kendrick but he is batting .353 against him in 17 career at-bats. Drew Stubbs has just two hits against the right-hander in 11 career at-bats.
