On Saturday afternoon, Jhoulys Chacin will try to end his short two-game losing streak when the Colorado Rockies take on veteran Matt Garza and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Right-hander Jhoulys Chacin lost his sixth game of the season on Monday when he was defeated by the St. Louis Cardinals at home. He gave up a season-high five earned runs in that game and he struck out four batters while walking three. On the season, he is 1-6 with a 4.84 ERA and he has walked 4.2 batters per nine innings.

Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez is 6-for-15 against Chacin in his career with two doubles, a home run and two RBI. Mark Reynolds is hitless against him in 10 at-bats and he has been struck out four times in their matchups.

Matt Garza pitched seven pretty good innings against the Washington Nationals on Monday, but he took the loss after getting no support from his offense. He gave up three runs on five hits in that outing while walking two and striking out seven. Garza now has a 4-5 record, but he has only given up a total of eight home runs in 101 innings this season.

Garza is one of only a few pitchers that Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki doesn't like to face. He has just two hits against him in 11 at-bats with no walks or extra-base hits.
