On Wednesday night, lefty Jorge De La Rosa will be starting for the Colorado Rockies when they face Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw.

Jorge De La Rosa only threw 61 pitches against the San Francisco Giants in his three innings of work before being pulled. He ended up with a no decision in that game after giving up two runs on five hits and walking two while striking out three. He is 6-5 on the year with a 4.12 ERA and his walk rate is the worst that it has been since 2010.

Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp has a .419 batting average against De La Rosa in 31 at-bats with three doubles, a triple, three home runs and 10 RBI. First baseman Adrian Gonzalez has also hit three home runs off of De La Rosa.

Left-hander Clayton Kershaw won his third game in a row and his sixth overall when he beat the Arizona Diamondbacks last week. He gave up one run in seven innings of work that day while walking one and striking out seven. Kershaw has struck out 71 batters in 55.1 innings this year while walking only eight.

All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has just a .245 batting average against Kershaw in 49 at-bats, but he also has two doubles and two home runs against him. Drew Stubbs is just 3-for-18 against him in his career with seven strikeouts.
