Right-hander Jordan Lyles (7-3), who is 1-1 with a 4.44 ERA in four starts this month, will take the mound for the Colorado Rockies when they face Roberto Hernandez (8-11) and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday night.

Jordan Lyles picked up his first win of the month last Friday when he beat the Arizona Diamondbacks at home. He went six innings in that start and gave up two runs on nine base hits while striking out one batter and walking no one. Lyles has a 4.15 ERA this season and he has struck out 86 batters in 121.1 innings of work.

Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez has four hits in six plate appearances versus Lyles with a double, a home run and three RBI. First baseman Adrian Gonzalez is hitless in five at-bats against him with one walk and two strikeouts.

On Sunday, Roberto Hernandez made it through four innings against the Chicago Cubs and finished with a no decision. He gave up two runs on six base hits in that game and walked two batters while striking out four. Hernandez now owns a 4.08 ERA following that game and he has walked 3.9 batters per nine innings.

Rockies first baseman Justin Morneau is 12-for-38 against Hernandez in his career with three doubles, four home runs and 12 RBI. Outfielder Charlie Blackmon is 0-for-8 against him with two walks and one strikeout.
