Colorado Rockies starter Jorge De La Rosa will try to move his undefeated streak to seven games on Tuesday night when he goes up against Edwin Jackson and the Chicago Cubs.

Jorge De La Rosa had a very good start last week against the Washington Nationals and picked up his 11th win of the year. He pitched 7.1 innings in that game and allowed two runs (one earned) on eight base hits while walking no one and striking out a season-high 11 batters. De La Rosa is currently 11-6 on the year with a 4.19 ERA and he has struck out 6.7 batters per nine innings.

Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro is just 3-for-13 against De La Rosa in his career, but he has hit a home run off of the left-hander. Outfielder Chris Coghlan only has one hit in his seven at-bats against De La Rosa with two strikeouts.

Edwin Jackson's struggles continued last week when he was beaten by the San Diego Padres at home. He pitched five innings in that game and gave up five runs on seven hits while walking one and striking out four. Jackson is now 5-11 this season with a 5.76 ERA and he has given up 131 hits in 115.2 innings on the mound.

One player on the Rockies who Jackson has never liked facing is outfielder Carlos Gonzalez, who is 7-for-9 against him with two doubles, a triple and six RBI.
