Franklin Morales will be hoping to pick up his first win in nearly a month when the Colorado Rockies face Julio Teheran and the Atlanta Braves on Sunday night.

Franklin Morales pitched pretty well against the San Francisco Giants last Tuesday, but he ended up with a no decision in a game the Rockies eventually won 5-4. Morales gave up three runs in six innings of work in that game while striking out six and walking just one. He has a 5.30 ERA on the season and has given up over 10 hits per nine innings.

Braves second baseman Dan Uggla has one hit in six at-bats against Morales with two strikeouts, while outfielder Justin Upton is 3-for-10 against him with a home run and three RBI.

Julio Teheran made his tenth start of the season last week against the Milwaukee Brewers and ended up throwing his first shutout of the year. He gave up just six hits in those nine innings of work and struck out three while walking two. His ERA dipped down to a fantastic 1.92 and he has given up just 49 hits in 70.1 innings this year.

All-Star Troy Tulowitzki is hitless against Teheran in five plate appearances with three strikeouts. DJ LeMahieu is 2-for-2 against him with two doubles. No one on the Rockies has hit a home run off of the young right-hander yet.
