One of the biggest disappointments of the 2014 Major League Baseball season is the Arizona Diamondbacks. They have struggled this season and on Monday night at Chase Field, will welcome the Colorado Rockies to town. The Rockies will send left hander Franklin Morales to the mound, while the Diamondbacks will counter with a lefty of their own, Wade Miley.

Morales has made 5 appearances (4 starts) this season for the Rockies this season and has pitched well. Miley has been busy for the Diamondbacks already this season, making 6 starts. He has gone 2-2 and has pitched well for them. He hasn’t been lights out, but in 36 innings, has allowed 18 earned runs on 30 hits and 16 walks with 34 strikeouts. Opponents are batting just .231 against him this season and he is one of the few bright spots on this team and especially in their starting rotation.
