Lefty Jorge De La Rosa (11-7) will be on the mound for the Colorado Rockies when they face Trevor Cahill (1-8) and the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday night.

Jorge De La Rosa pitched 6.2 innings against the Detroit Tigers on the road on Sunday and ended up taking the loss. He gave up four runs on six base hits in that outing while striking out six batters and walking one. De La Rosa has given up just 115 hits in 128.2 innings this year, but his ERA is a bit high at 4.27.

Diamondbacks catcher Miguel Montero has just two hits in his 14 at-bats against De La Rosa in his career with a walk and five strikeouts. Left fielder Mark Trumbo is 1-for-1 against him and is the only player on the Diamondbacks who has hit a home run off of the left-hander.

Against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday, Trevor Cahill pitched seven strong innings, but he ended up with just a no decision. He allowed just one run on seven hits in that game while walking one and striking out seven. He still has a high 5.12 ERA, but he has been able to strike out 60 hitters in 63,1 innings this season.

Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez has four hits in 14 at-bats versus Cahill with a double, two triples and a home run. Charlie Blackmon is 4-for-5 against him with a double.
