Veteran lefty Franklin Morales (5-6) is expected to make the start for the Colorado Rockies when they take on Wade Miley (7-8) and the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Franklin Morales last started for the Rockies last Friday, when he went six innings against the Detroit Tigers on the road and took the loss. He allowed three runs on six hits in that start and walked four batters while striking out two. He currently has a 5.08 ERA on the year and he has given up 120 hits in 106.1 innings of work.

Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill has two hits in three at-bats against Morales in his career with a walk and an RBI. Catcher Miguel Montero is 0-for-5 against him with an RBI and two strikeouts.

Left-hander Wade Miley had one of the worst starts of his career on Tuesday when he was defeated by the Kansas City Royals at home. He gave up a season-high 10 earned runs in 4.2 innings in that game and walked three while striking out four. He has given up 150 hits in 150.1 innings this year and he currently owns a 4.61 ERA.

Rockies catcher Wilin Rosario has right hits in his 16 at-bats versus Miley in his career with three doubles, a home run and three RBI. Josh Rutledge is just 2-for-13 against him with two RBI and four strikeouts.
