Big right-hander Justin Masterson will be going for his fourth win of the season when the Cleveland Indians take on Joe Saunders and the Texas Rangers on Sunday afternoon.

Justin Masterson picked up his third win of the season on Monday when he pitched seven scoreless innings against the Boston Red Sox at home. He only gave up three hits in that game and walked four while striking out a season-high 10 batters. Masterson is 3-4 on the year with a 4.72 ERA, with his biggest issue being the 37 walks he has allowed in 74.1 innings.

Third baseman Adrian Beltre has struggled mightily against Masterson in his career, getting just three hits against him with no extra-base hits in 19 at-bats. Outfielder Alex Rios is the only player on the Rangers who has hit a home run off of Masterson.

Joe Saunders ended up with a no decision against the Baltimore Orioles last week after allowing two earned runs in six innings of work. He gave up 10 hits in that game and walked one while striking out just two batters. Through three starts this season, Saunders is 0-1 with a 3.68 ERA and he has struck out 12 in 14.2 innings.

Saunders has done well against Indians outfielder Ryan Raburn, holding him to just one hit in 16 at-bats while striking him out four times.
