On Wednesday afternoon, right-hander Trevor Bauer will be going for his third win of the season when he and the Cleveland Indians go up against nine-game winner Hyun-Jin Ryu and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Last Friday against the Seattle Mariners, Trevor Bauer gave up three runs in 6.1 innings of work and ended up taking his fourth loss of the season. He allowed nine hits in that outing and walked two while striking out five. Bauer has struck out 52 batters in 53.1 innings this season, but he has also given up 58 hits.

The Dodgers will be going up against Bauer for the first time on Wednesday. So far this season, he has held right-handed hitters to a .274 batting average, while left-handed hitters have a .295 average and an .838 OPS against him.

Second-year starter Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched pretty well against the St. Louis Cardinals last week, but he ended up taking the loss after getting just one run from his offense. He pitched seven innings in that game and allowed three runs on nine hits while walking one and striking out seven. On the season, Ryu is 9-4 with a 3.12 ERA and he has only given up six home runs on 89.1 innings.

Surprisingly, this will be the first time that Ryu will face any of the Indians' hitters. He has only given up one home run to a left-handed hitter this season.
