Justin Masterson will be hoping to finally pick up his first win of the season when he and the Cleveland Indians take on Tyler Skaggs and the Los Angeles Angels.

Justin Masterson received his fifth straight no decision on Wednesday when he went 6.1 innings against the Kansas City Royals. He gave up two earned runs in that outing on eight hits and struck out six while walking two. Masterson now has a 4.50 ERA on the year and is striking out 9.6 batters per nine innings.

Brennan Boesch has faced Masterson more than anyone else on the Angels and has seven hits in 27 at-bats in their matchups. Mike Trout is already 2-for-4 with two walks and two RBI against the veteran right-hander, so he may present the biggest problem for the Indians on Monday.

Tyler Skaggs is now 2-0 on the season after beating the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night. He was able pitch seven strong innings in that game and gave up two earned runs on three hits while striking out five and walking four. His 3.21 ERA and 1.107 WHIP are by far better than his career numbers.

This will be the first time that any of the Indians' hitters have faced Skaggs. They can expect to see a 92-94 mph fastball from him, which is quite a bit faster than he ever threw in the past.
