On Tuesday night, 28-year-old starter Corey Kluber will be on the mound for the Cleveland Indians when they face off against Yordano Ventura and the Kansas City Royals.

On Wednesday, Corey Kluber went 6.1 innings against the Boston Red Sox and allowed four runs, but the Indians won that game and he settled for a no decision. He gave up five hits in that game and walked two while striking out four. So far this season, Kluber is striking out 10.3 batters per nine innings and has only allowed six home runs through 13 starts.

Alex Gordon has hit two home runs off of Kluber in his career so far, but he is just 4-for-19 against him overall with six strikeouts. Mike Moustakas is 6-for-15 against him with three doubles and an RBI.

Yordano Ventura was bale to pick up his first win since April 25 last week when he defeated the St. Louis Cardinals on the road. He wet six innings in that start and allowed just two earned runs on seven hits while walking two and striking out one. Ventura now has a 3-5 record on the season and has struck out 60 hitters in 63.1 innings of work.

In Jason Kipnis' three at-bats against Yordano Ventura, he is hitless with two strikeouts. No one on the Indians has been able to get an extra-base hit against the young right-hander yet.
