On Thursday, the Cleveland Indians will visit Kansas City to face the Royals in the first of a four game series. The Indians will send Corey Kluber (10-6, 2.95 ERA) to the hill to face Danny Duffy (5-10, 2.66 ERA).

Kluber was just short of a complete game when he faced the Tigers on Saturday after striking out 10 hitters over 8.2 innings in their 6-2 win. The win was Kluber's third straight. He was only pulled out of the game after giving up a pair of doubles in the ninth. Other than that, Kluber was rolling and he'll look to do the same thing on Thursday.

Kluber has pitched well against the Royals in the past only allowing a .209 team average to current Royals players. However, Mike Moustakas has fared well against Kluber going 7-for-18 with a homerun and two RBIs.

Opposite of Kluber will be Danny Duffy who is coming off his third straight loss. This one was against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday. In these losses, Duffy pitched very well but was on the wrong end of the run support. It was Duffy's fifth loss in his last six outings and he'll hope this time around that he can get the run support he deserves.

Unfortunately, Duffy hasn't pitched well against the Indians and opposing batters are hitting almost .400 against him in 65 at bats.
