On Tuesday night, Corey Kluber (15-9) will attempt to win his third consecutive game when he and the Cleveland Indians go up rookie Nick Tropeano (1-0) and the Houston Astros.

Last Thursday, Corey Kluber pitched 8.1 strong innings against the Minnesota Twins and came away with the win. He allowed just two runs on eight base hits in that start and walked no one while striking out seven. Kluber now has an excellent 2.45 ERA on the season and he has struck out a whopping 230 batters in 212.2 innings on the mound.

Astros designated hitter Chris Carter is 2-for-7 against Kluber in his career with a double and a solo home run. Second baseman Jose Altuve is hitless in three at-bats against him with no walks and no strikeouts.

Big right-hander Nick Tropeano made his first Major League start last week when he defeated the Seattle Mariners on the road. He gave up two runs in five innings of work that day while walking two batters and striking out five. Tropeano threw 45 of his 80 pitches for strikes in that win and he induced seven ground balls.

All of the Indians' hitters will be facing Tropeano for the first time on Tuesday night. They can expect to see a 91-92 mph fastball with a 78-80 mph curveball and an 80 mph changeup mixed in.
