Big right-hander Zach McAllister (3-6), who hasn't won a game since way back in April, will make the start for the Cleveland Indians when they go up against Brad Peacock (4-8) and the Houston Astros on Monday night.

Zach McAllister last made a start for the Indians back on July 31 when he gave up four runs in 3.1 innings to the Seattle Mariners and took the no decision. Since then, he has made two relief appearances for the team. On the year, McAllister has a 5.97 ERA and he has given up 85 hits in 72.1 innings of work.

Astros designated hitter Chris Carter is 4-for-7 against McAllister in his career with a triple, a home run and two RBI. Second baseman Jose Altuve is 0-for-2 against the right-hander with a walk.

Brad Peacock pitched well against the Seattle Mariners on the road last week, but he ended up taking the no decision in a game the Mariners ended up winning 4-1. Peacock pitched five shutout innings in that start and gave up four hits while striking out six batters and walking two. He has struck out 110 batters in 123.2 innings this season and now has a 4.80 ERA.

Indians outfielder J.B. Shuck is 0-for-3 against Peacock with no walks and two strikeouts. No one on the Indians has faced the right-hander more than three times.
