Cleveland Indians starter T.J. House (1-2) will be going for just his second win in 12 starts on Thursday night when he faces off against Homer Bailey (8-5) and the Cincinnati Reds.

Last Saturday, rookie T.J. House pitched five scoreless innings against the Texas Rangers at home, but he had to settle for a no decision. He gave up just three hits in that outing and walked two batters while striking out seven. Through 11 starts, House now owns a 4.09 ERA and he has given up 67 hits in 55 innings on the mound.

House will be making his first career start against the Reds on Thursday night. Their right-handed batters will probably be looking forward to the matchup, as they have an .882 OPS against him so far this year.

Veteran Homer Bailey ended up with a no decision against the Miami Marlins last Saturday, but he certainly pitched well enough to get the win. He went seven innings in that game and allowed just one run on three base hits while walking three batters and striking out five. He currently has a 3.89 ERA on the season and he has struck out 7.5 batters per nine innings.

Outfielder Michael Brantley is the only player on the Indians who has hit a home run off of Bailey, but he is just 2-for-9 overall against him.
