On Wednesday night, Danny Salazar (4-4) will be going for his fourth consecutive win when the Cleveland Indians face Mat Latos (3-3) and the Cincinnati Reds.

Last Friday, Danny Salazar had a strong outing against the Texas Rangers and came away with his fourth win of the season. He pitched six innings in that start and allowed just one unearned run on four hits while walking three batters and striking out four. His ERA is now down to 4.45 on the year and he has struck out 9.8 batters per nine innings.

Reds infielder Ramon Santiago is hitless against Salazar in four at-bats with a walk and two strikeouts. Brayan Pena is the only other Red who has faced the right-hander and is 1-for-3 against him with a single.

Mat Latos was able to win his first game in nearly a month last Friday when he beat the Miami Marlins on the road. He allowed just one run in seven innings of work that day and walked four while striking out five. Through nine starts, Latos now has a 3.07 ERA and he has given up just 40 hits in 58.2 innings on the mound this year.

Indians third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall has three hits in five at-bats against Latos with a triple, a home run and two RBI. Jason Kipnis is just 1-for-7 against him with a walk and a strikeout.
