U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, Ill. will host a game between two American League Central rivals, the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago White Sox. The Indians will turn to right-hander Carlos Carrasco (5-4), while the White Sox will turn to left-hander John Danks (9-8).

With the Indians looking to stay in the hunt for a wild card spot, Carrasco will be the man in charge of getting the Indians a victory in this game. He has made 33 appearances this season including seven starts and has quietly put together a solid season. After finishing 2013 with a 6.75 ERA, Carraso has cut that in half thus far to 3.14. He is averaging about a strikeout per inning and has only walked 20 batters in 83 innings. Four White Sox players have faced Carrasco at least 10 times with Alejandro De Aza and Adam Dunn each batting better than .360 against him.

Danks is the owner of the largest contract on the Chicago roster at close to $16 million and has underachieved this season. With an ERA close to 5.00 and a WHIP nearing 1.500, Danks has been a big reason why the White Sox are so far under .500. As a whole, the Indians have had great success against Danks, combining to hit .282 with 8 home runs and 27 RBIs. Ryan Raburn has had the most success, batting .333 with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs, while Jason Kipinis has also batted above .300 with 1 home run and 6 RBIs.
