On Wednesday night, Corey Kluber (13-7), who has a 1.61 ERA in August, will make the start for the Cleveland Indians when they go up against Hector Noesi (7-9) and the Chicago White Sox.

Last week, Corey Kluber had a pretty good start against the Minnesota Twins on the road, but he still ended up taking the loss. He pitched seven innings in that game and allowed three runs on six base hits while walking four batters and striking out eight. Kluber has a fantastic 2.46 ERA on the year and he has struck out 9.9 batters per nine innings.

White Sox slugger Adam Dunn has six hits in 19 at-bats against Kluber in his career with a double, a home run and three RBI. Alejandro De Aza is just 3-for-17 against him with three walks and six strikeouts.

Hector Noesi ended up losing his ninth game when he was defeated by the Baltimore Orioles at home. He went seven innings in that outing and gave up four runs on seven hits while striking out eight batters and walking zero. He now has a 4.86 ERA this season and he has given up 141 hits in 133.1 innings of work.

Indians outfielder Michael Bourn is 2-for-4 against Noesi in his career and is the only Cleveland player who has hit a home run off of the right-hander. Michael Brantley is just 1-for-9 against him with no walks.
