Mat Latos (4-3) will be on the hill for the Cincinnati Reds when they go up against rookie left-hander Yohan Flande (0-5) and the Colorado Rockies on Sunday afternoon.

Mat Latos had a very good start against the Boston Red Sox last week, but he ended up with just a no decision. He went seven innings in that game and allowed just one run on five base hits while walking one batter and striking out five. His ERA is now down to 2.95 on the year and he has given up just 51 hits in 73.1 innings of work.

Rockies catcher Michael McKenry is 2-for-6 against Latos in his career with a solo home run and three strikeouts. Wilin Rosario is 1-for-6 against him with no walks and three strikeouts.

Last Tuesday against the San Diego Padres, Yohan Flande gave up just two runs in six innings, but he still ended up taking the loss. He gave up four hits in that outing while walking two wand striking out two. Flande has only been able to strike out 20 batters in 40.1 innings this season and he now has a 5.36 ERA.

Left-handed batters are hitting just .156 in 45 at-bats against Flande this season, but right-handed batters are hitting .333 against him with an .856 OPS. Flande is 0-2 with a 7.40 ERA at home this season.
