Tuesday night, the Cincinnati Reds will give the ball to Johnny Cueto (12 - 6, 2.05 ERA) as they square off against the Cleveland Indians and Josh Tomlin (5 - 7, 4.47 ERA). Cueto makes his 24^th start as Tomlin makes his 15^th start and 16th appearance.

Josh Tomlin didn't get the decision in his last outing and he was fortunate not to. He gave up 4 runs on 7 hits (including 2 home runs) in just 5.1 innings. Tomlin struck out 5 without issuing any walks. The road back from Tommy John surgery in 2012 hasn't been easy for Tomlin and his record shows it. He hasn't had a victory in over a month and he has given up 4 or more runs in each of his last 4 starts. Last season, he pitched just 2 innings of relief.

Tomlin has seen many of the Reds before and he has struggled against them. Cincinnati is batting .305 with 18 hits, 3 homers and 8 RBIs in59 at-bats.
