On Tuesday night, Johnny Cueto (18-8) will go for his fourth win in a row when he and the Cincinnati Reds face off against Jake Arrieta (8-5) and the Chicago Cubs.

Johnny Cueto had a very strong start last Thursday when he was able to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals on the road. He pitched eight shutout innings in that game and gave up just three hits while walking one batter and striking out seven. On the year, Cueto leads the league with 18 wins and he has one of the best ERAs at 2.15.

Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro is 9-for-36 against Cueto in his career with a double, a triple and an RBI. First baseman Anthony Rizzo is just 2-for-18 against him with a solo home run and five strikeouts.

Last week, Jake Arrieta gave up two runs in 6.1 innings against the Toronto Blue Jays on the road and finished with a no decision. He allowed seven hits in that outing and walked one batter while striking out five. Arrieta now has a solid 2.82 ERA on the year and he has only given up 7.1 hits per nine innings.

Reds speedy outfielder Billy Hamilton has two hits in his four at-bats against Arrieta with two walks, a double and an RBI. Outfielder Jay Bruce is just 1-for-5 against the right-hander with no walks and four strikeouts.
