In what should be a great pitchers' duel, Johnny Cueto and the Cincinnati Reds will go up against Julio Teheran and the Atlanta Braves on Sunday afternoon.

Johnny Cueto pitched his second consecutive complete game last Tuesday when he was able to hold the Pittsburgh Pirates to just one run on three hits. He struck out just four and walked three, but he was in command of his pitches for the majority of the game. He was able to lower his ERA to 1.38 on the season and his currently striking out nine batters per nine innings.

Braves outfielder Justin Upton has just four hits and has struck out five times in 15 at-bats against Cueto, but two of his hits were home runs.

Julio Teheran pitched seven strong innings against the Miami Marlins last Monday, but he ended up with a no decision. He held the Marlins to just one earned run on five hits and struck out eight while walking just one. Teheran now has a 1.80 ERA and a fantastic 1.000 WHIP.

Jay Bruce has only faced Teheran three times so far in his career, but he has shown that he can hit the young right-hander by getting a single, a home run and two RBI against him. Outfielder Roger Bernadina has just one hit against him in five at-bats with two strikeouts.
