On Friday night, John Danks will be going for his seventh win of the year when he and the Chicago White Sox face former Cy Young winner R.A. Dickey and the Toronto Blue Jays.

John Danks had his three-game winning streak snapped on Sunday by the Minnesota Twins after he gave up six runs to them in five innings of work. He allowed 10 hits in that outing and walked four batters while striking out just one. Danks is now 6-6 on the season and he has walked 3.8 batters per nine innings.

Blue Jays catcher Dioner Navarro has seven hits in his 17 at-bats against Danks with two doubles, two home runs and three RBI. Outfielder Melky Cabrera has just six hits against him in 25 at-bats with two strikeouts.

Right-hander R.A. Dickey lost his second game in a row and his sixth overall in his last start when he was beaten by the Cincinnati Reds on the road. He allowed four runs (three earned) in 7.2 innings in that game while walking two and striking out seven. Dickey has struck out 79 batters in 98 innings this year, but he has also walked 42.

White Sox veteran Adam Dunn is a big fan of facing Dickey as he is 6-for-13 against him in his career with two home runs and four RBI. Alexei Ramirez is 3-for-7 against him with a double and a homer.
