Rookie right-hander Hector Noesi (8-10), who has a 4.95 ERA in his last three outings, will get the start for the Chicago White Sox when they take on Chris Archer (9-8) and the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday night.

Last Sunday, Hector Noesi gave up five runs in 6.2 innings of work against the Minnesota Twins and ended up taking the loss. He allowed eight base hits in that outing and walked two batters while striking out three. On the year, Noesi now has a 4.77 ERA and he has given up 27 home runs in 160.1 innings.

Rays outfielder Matthew Joyce has four hits in his seven plate appearances versus Noesi with a triple, a home run and two RBI. Sean Rodriguez is hitless in five at-bats against him with no walks and three strikeouts.

Right-hander Chris Archer has a very good outing against the Toronto Blue Jays on the road on Sunday, but all he could get out of that start was a no decision. He gave up just one run in seven innings of work that day while walking three and striking out nine. Archer has only given up 11 home runs in 180.2 innings this year and he now has a 3.54 ERA.

White Sox outfielder Jose Abreu has two hits in three at-bats against Archer in his career with a home run and two RBI. Catcher Tyler Flowers is 2-for-4 against him with a double and two RBI.
