Chicago White Sox right-hander Hector Noesi will take on Ricky Nolasco and the Minnesota Twins on Friday night in the second game of a four-game series between the teams.

Hector Noesi had one of his roughest outings of the season so far when he was only able to go 3.2 innings against the Kansas City Royals on Saturday. He picked up his fifth loss of the year in that outing after giving up five runs (two earned) on eight hits while walking one and striking out four. He is now 2-5 this year and has given up 68 hits in 57 innings of work.

Veteran outfielder Josh Willingham has just one hit and one RBI against Noesi in eight plate appearances. Kendrys Morales is 3-for-5 against him with two home runs and four RBI.

Right-hander Ricky Nolasco ended up with a no decision against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday in a game the Tigers ended up winning 4-3. He pitched 5.1 innings in that start and allowed three runs on nine hits while striking out five and walking two. Through 84.1 innings Nolasco has already given up 108 hits with just 61 strikeouts.

Adam Dunn has just a .231 batting average against Nolasco in 26 at-bats, but he does have a double, a triple, a home run and six RBI against him. Alexei Ramirez is 6-for10 against him in his career with two doubles and a home run.
