Left-hander John Danks hasn't been able to pick up a win in nearly a month and will be looking to change that when he and the Chicago White Sox face Josh Beckett and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night.

Last Friday, John Danks was beaten by the San Diego Padres for his fifth loss of the season, but he actually pitched pretty well in that outing. He allowed just two runs in seven innings of work in that game while striking out four and walking one. He's now 3-5 on the year and his 3.6 walks per nine innings is double the walk rate that he had in 2013.

Veteran Chone Figgins may not find himself in the Dodgers' lineup on Wednesday because he is just 4-for-27 against Danks in his career with eight strikeouts. Hanley Ramirez is 2-for-3 against him with a double, a home run and two RBI.

Josh Beckett's three-game winning streak came to an end last week when he was defeated by the Pittsburgh Pirates at home. He allowed two earned runs in five innings of work in that outing and struck out five while walking one. Beckett has fantastic numbers this season, including a 2.52 ERA in 60.2 innings.

White Sox designated hitter Adam Dunn has a home run and three RBI against Beckett, but he is just 2-for-9 against him overall with five strikeouts.
