Andre Rienzo will look to end his current two-game losing streak when he and the Chicago White Sox face off against Jered Weaver and the Los Angeles Angels on Friday night.

Right-hander Andre Rienzo only went 3.1 innings in his start against the San Diego Padres last weekend and ended up taking his second loss of the year. He allowed three earned runs on seven hits in that game and walked two while striking out four. Rienzo's biggest problem this season has been the amount of walks he has given up, allowing 20 batters to reach base via the free pass in 44.1 innings.

All of the Angels will be facing Rienzo for the first time on Friday and can expect him to use his fastball/cutter combination about 75 percent of the time.

Jered Weaver had one of his worst outings of the year on Sunday against the Oakland Athletics and ended up suffering his fourth loss of the season. In six innings of work, Weaver allowed six runs (five earned) on 11 a season-high 11 hits while striking out just two and walking one. That was a rare blip in Weaver's otherwise solid season. He is now 6-4 with a 3.33 ERA through 12 starts.

Veteran first baseman Paul Konerko has just two hits in 22 at-bats against Weaver with a walk and five strikeouts. Adam Dunn is the only player on the White Sox who has hit a home run off of the right-hander.
