25-year-old starter Jose Quintana will be looking to pick up his second win of the season on Friday when he and the Chicago White Sox go up against Collin McHugh and the Houston Astros.

Jose Quintana ended up with his third loss when he pitched against the Arizona Diamondbacks last week, but he didn't pitch too badly in the game. He went six innings and gave up three earned runs while striking out five and walking just one in the loss. He is 1-3 on the season now, but he does have a 3.67 ERA and has given up just four home runs in 49 innings.

Astros second baseman Jose Altuve hasn't been able to figure out Quintana yet and is just 1-for-7 against him with four strikeouts. Jason Castro, though, has done pretty well against him by going 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI.

Right-hander Collin McHugh made his fourth start last weekend against the Baltimore Orioles and ended up with a no decision despite pitching 6.1 strong innings in the game. He gave up just two runs on seven hits in that outing and struck out four while walking two. He still has a very good 2.81 ERA on the season and has 27 strikeouts through 25.1 innings.

McHugh will be facing all of the White Sox hitters for the first time on Friday.
