The Chicago White Sox will start John Danks on Sunday afternoon and he will go up against Brad Peacock and the Houston Astros.

Left-hander John Danks lost for the third time this season when he was beaten by the Oakland Athletics last Monday. He pitched pretty well in that game, though, by going six innings and giving up three runs on six hits while striking out five and walking two. He is now 3-3 on the season with a 4.88 ERA. His strikeout numbers are up from a year ago, but he is also walking a lot more batters than he did in 2013.

Chris Carter and Jason Castro are both 1-for-3 with a solo home run against Danks, while Jose Altuve is 0-for-3 against him with one strikeout.

Brad Peacock is now 0-4 on the season after he took the loss against the Texas Rangers last Monday at home. He went six innings in that game and struck out a season-high 11 batters, but he also tied his season-high in runs given up with four. He has a 5.63 ERA on the season through 38.1 innings and he has walked over six batters per nine innings.

The White Sox will be facing Peacock for the first time on Sunday and should expect to see a good mix of his 92 mph fastballs with his 76 mph curveballs.
