With Major League Baseball’s decision to play interleague games throughout the year, fans of the Colorado Rockies will welcome the Chicago White Sox to Coors Field on Tuesday at 8:40 p.m. The Rockies will send Franklin Morales (0-0) to the mound, while the White Sox will counter with Jose Quintana (0-0).

Quintana pitched well in his first start of the 2014 season, striking out 8 in 6 innings, while allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits and 3 walks. During his brief career, Quintana has gone 15-13 with a 3.60 ERA and has become known as a pitcher that will allow the White Sox to stay in most games. He has limited experience playing members of the Rockies, as Justin Morneau (5-for-13), Brandon Barnes (2-for-6) and Drew Stubbs (0-for-7) are the only ones that have stepped to plate against him.

Much like his counterpart, he has limited experience against current Chicago players, limiting them to a .125 (2-for-16) batting average with Alexei Ramirez claiming the only two hits. He has held left-handed power hitter Adam Dunn to an 0-for-7 mark with 3 strikeouts.
