John Danks will take the mound on Friday night for the Chicago White Sox when they face Danny Salazar and the Cleveland Indians.

John Danks was able to make it through his first four starts without a loss, but that streak ended last Saturday when he lost to the Tampa Bay Rays. He pitched 5.2 innings in that game and gave up four earned runs on seven hits and struck out four while walking four. His ERA is still a decent 3.48, but his walk rate is very high at 4.9 per nine innings.

Ryan Raburn should find himself in the Indians' lineup on Friday against Danks because he has a .351 batting average against him with five doubles, three home runs and nine RBI.

Danny Salazar had his best start of the season on Sunday against the San Francisco Giants, but he remained winless as he took the no decision in the outing. He pitched seven strong innings in that game and gave up just one run on five hits while striking out eight and walking one. His ERA is still high at 6.04, but he does have a K/9 of 11.

Alexei Ramirez has faced Salazar just seven times in his career so far, but but he has proven that he can hit the right-hander by getting six hits off of him, including a double and a home run.
