On Monday night, Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale will be facing the Baltimore Orioles, who will have Wei-Yin Chen pitching for them.

On Wednesday, Chris Sale wasn't at his very best against the San Francisco Giants, but he did do well enough to pick up his sixth win of the year. He went six innings in that outing and allowed three runs on eight hits while walking one and striking out seven. Through 10 starts, Sale is 6-1 with a fantastic 2.20 ERA and he has been able to strike out 75 batters in 65.1 innings of work.

Orioles outfielder Nelson Cruz has three hits in eight at-bats against Sale with a home runs and three RBI. Nick Markakis is 2-for-5 against him with a double and three RBI.

Wei-Yin Chen pitched pretty well against the Tampa Bay Rays on the road last week, but all he could get out of that start was a no decision. He pitched 6.2 innings in that game and gave up three earned runs on six hits while walking one and striking out three. On the season, Chen has given up 91 hits in 83.1 innings, but he has also walked just 12 batters.

Veteran Paul Konerko has three hits in seven at-bats against Chen in his career with a double and an RBI. Second baseman Gordon Beckham has just one hit in seven at-bats against him with a strikeout.
