Travis Wood will be going for his fourth consecutive win on Friday night when the Chicago Cubs take on Marco Estrada and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Travis Wood won his third straight game last weekend when he was able to beat the San Diego Padres on the road. He pitched a season-high 7.1 innings in that start and allowed just two runs on three hits while walking two and striking out three. He is now 5-4 on the season and has a 4.35 ERA through 62 innings of work.

Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks has faced Wood 24 times in his career and has just three hits against him. Left fielder Ryan Braun is 7-for-25 against the left-hander in his career with four doubles, a home run and five RBI.

Last Friday, Marco Estrada was able to pick up his fourth win of the year when he pitched 6.2 strong innings against the Miami Marlins. He allowed a season-high five runs in that start, but he didn't walk anyone and he struck out seven. He gave up four home runs in that game and has now given up 16 homers in 61 innings.

Shortstop Starlin Castro has done extremely well against Estrada in his career by going 10-for-24 with four doubles, a triple and two RBI. First baseman Anthony Rizzo has just one hit in 21 at-bats against the right-hander.
