Jason Hammel will be looking to stay hot and pick up his fourth win of the season when he and the Chicago Cubs face off against Wily Peralta and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Jason Hammel was able to win his third game in a row when he beat the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night. He pitched seven strong innings in the game and gave up just one run on four hits while striking out four and walking no one. He has given up just 14 hits in 27.2 innings and now has a 2.60 ERA.

Lyle Overbay has had no luck against Hammel in the past, hitting just .105 in 19 at-bats with no extra-base hits. Ryan Braun has done a bit better against the big right-hander by going 5-for-11 with a double and an RBI off of him.

Wily Peralta won his third game in a row when he beat the San Diego Padres last Monday and is now 3-0 on the season. He went 6.1 innings in that one and allowed two earned runs on six hits and was able to strike out six while walking just one batter. Peralta now has a 2.19 ERA and a 1.095 WHIP on the season.

One player on the Cubs that Peralta doesn't like to face is Anthony Rizzo, who is 5-for-13 against him with two home runs, a double and five RBI.
