Rookie left-hander Tsuyoshi Wada (4-3) will make start number 13 for the Chicago Cubs when they face Wily Peralta (16-11) and the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night.

Last week, Tsuyoshi Wada gave up one run in five innings of work against the Los Angeles Dodgers and ended up with a no decision. He allowed five base hits in that game and he struck out five batters while walking one. Wada currently owns a 3.22 ERA through 12 starts this year and he has struck out 53 batters in 64.1 innings.

Brewers catcher Martin Maldonado has two hits in three at-bats against Wada with a double and a solo home run. Second baseman Rickie Weeks is 2-for-3 against him with a solo home run and a strikeout.

Right-hander Wily Peralta took the loss against the Pittsburgh Pirates in his last start despite only giving up one earned run in seven innings on the mound. He allowed five base hits in that game while striking out four hitters and walking three. Peralta has given up 193 hits in 191.2 innings this year and he now has a 3.62 ERA.

One player on the Cubs who Peralta definitely does not like facing is first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who is 9-for-21 against him with a double, five home runs and 10 RBI. Outfielder Junior Lake is 0-for-10 against him with no walks and six strikeouts.
