On Tuesday night, Travis Wood (7-11) will try to end his two-game losing streak when he and the Chicago Cubs face off against Johnny Cueto (15-7) and the Cincinnati Reds.

Left-hander Travis Wood gave up four runs in six innings of work against the San Francisco Giants last Thursday and ended up picking up a loss. He allowed eight hits in that outing while walking one batter and striking out six. Wood's ERA is now up to 4.91 following that loss and he has given up 163 hits in 150.1 innings this year.

Red All-Star Todd Frazier has six hits in 20 at-bats versus Wood in his career with two home runs and six RBI. Shortstop Zack Cozart is just 2-for-21 against him with an RBI and nine strikeouts.

Johnny Cueto had one of his worst starts of the year last week when he was beaten by the St. Louis Cardinals on the road. He went just five innings in that start and gave up five runs (four earned) on seven base hits while walking four and striking out four. Cueto still has an excellent 2.20 ERA this season and he has only given up six hits per nine innings.

Cubs catcher John Baker is 2-for-5 against Cueto with a walk, while first baseman Anthony Rizzo is just 1-for-15 against him with no walks and four strikeouts.
