On Wednesday night, Clay Buchholz will be going for his third consecutive win when he and the Boston Red Sox face former Cy Young award winner R.A. Dickey and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Clay Buchholz gave up four runs in six innings against the Kansas City Royals last week, but he got some help from his offense and picked up his fifth win of the season. He allowed 10 hits in that outing and struck out three batters while walking zero. On the year, Buchholz is now 5-5 with a 5.46 ERA and he has given up 105 hits in 85.2 innings.

Blue Jays All-Star Jose Bautista has 11 hits in his 38 at-bats versus Buchholz with a double, a home run and three RBI. Outfielder Colby Rasmus is just 2-for-13 against the right-hander with two walks and two strikeouts.

R.A. Dickey lost his second game in a row and his 10th loss overall last Friday when he was defeated by the Texas Rangers at home. He pitched seven innings in that start and gave up five runs on six hits while walking no one and striking out seven. Dickey is now 10-7 for the Blue Jays this year and he has given up 18 home runs on 132 innings.

Red Sox outfielder Shane Victorino has just six hits against Dickey in 25 at-bats with a home run and nine strikeouts.
