Two pitchers looking to rebound from early exits meet up as Miguel Gonzalez (1-1) and Baltimore take on R.A Dickey (1-3) and Toronto. Gonzalez pitched well in his last outing, shutting out the Rays while allowing only 3 hits, but he battled and tossed 98 pitches through just 5 innings. Gonzalez has buckled down nicely after giving up 7 runs in the opener against Detroit. He allowed just 3 runs but 2 HR in start two against the Yankees before the April 16th matchup with Tampa Bay.

Gonzalez aims for similar success against Toronto as he had in 2013, going 3-1 in 5 starts with a total ERA of 2.30. He was 1-1 at the Rogers Centre with an ERA of 2.45. Toronto would like to have injured DH Adam Lind in the lineup as he's hit 8 for 16 against Gonzalez, but he is currently on the 15-day DL. The numbers are pretty bleak for the rest of the lineup as only one player who has faced Gonzalez more than 3 times is hitting above .222 against him.

Walks have been R.A. Dickey's problem in 2014 as he's given free passes to 5+ batters in 3 of 4 starts. The knuckleballer went just 4 1/3 innings against Minnesota, giving up 5 runs on 7 hits with 5 more BB. The 39-year-old's ERA has climbed to 6.26 for 2014.

Dickey didn't have much success against the Orioles last season as Baltimore plated 16 runs in 18.2 innings while also drawing 10 walks. Dickey's record in 3 starts was 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA. The Orioles lineup is hitting just .230 as a whole against R.A, but 5 players have hit above .300 against him and he has given up a HR to 5 different players.
